* According to Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec), the country registered monthly inflation of 3.3% in March. While this is an increase when compared with monthly inflation of 2% in February and 2.3% in January, the year-on-year rate for March was 48.4%, lower than the 50.3% year-on-year rate registered in February and the 52.9% rate registered in January.
