* The latest figures released by Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) show that 2.76m international tourists visited Mexico in March 2020, a 34.4% decrease from the 4.21m international visitors recorded in March 2019. Revenue from international tourists totalled US$1.2bn in March 2020, a decrease of 48.4% from US$2.3bn in 2019.
