EL SALVADOR: Bukele continues with brinkmanship
On 10 June El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele called for the country’s constitutional court (SC) to approve the executive decree extending the national quarantine declared by his government to contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), in exchange for his sanctioning into law a bill extending the temporary suspension of the statute of limitations.
