GUYANA: Opposition appeals to CCJ in electoral dispute
On 23 June the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) issued an order prohibiting Guyana’s elections commission (Gecom) from declaring the results of the 2 March election until it had issued final orders in response to an appeal made by the opposition People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C).
