CUBA | Battling Covid-19 economic fallout. Cuba’s President Miguel Díaz-Canel demanded “more intensity and greater innovation” to revive the economy, while addressing the council of ministers on 28 June. Díaz-Canel said that a national economic and social development plan to 2030, and a strategy for strengthening the economy in a prolonged period of crisis would be unveiled in early July.
