* Canadian vehicle maker Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has announced that it will invest CA$185m (some US$136m) in a new manufacturing facility in the Mexican city of Juárez, Chihuahua state – the first investment announced since the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade deal took effect on 1 July. In a statement, BRP said it expects the facility, which will be used to produce off-road vehicles, will create 1,000 permanent jobs.
