PANAMA: Calls for gov’t to suspend economic reopening
On 11 July a leading Panamanian medical association, Sociedad Panameña de Medicina Interna (SPMI), called for the government led by President Laurentino Cortizo to suspend the phased reopening of the economy, and to establish a complete quarantine for 15 days in three provinces to stop the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
