EL SALVADOR: Medical personnel protest lack of government plan
On 14 July members of the Salvadorean social security institute’s doctors’ union (Simetrisss) staged protests in Soyapango municipality, San Salvador department, over the lack of both personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers, and of a government plan to address the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
