MEXICO: Opposition threatens legal action against gov’t over pandemic
On 14 July a group of senators from Mexico’s main right-wing opposition Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) party revealed that they are considering presenting a formal complaint accusing deputy health minister, Hugo López-Gatell, of criminal responsibility for the recent increase in coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and deaths in the country.
