Following a series of violent attacks against protesters in the K’ara K’ara area of the city of Cochabamba, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) issued a warning on 3 July regarding the role of “private actors” in these attacks, “with the alleged acquiescence of some authorities”.
