* Peru’s foreign trade & tourism ministry (Mincetur) has reported that exports in June totalled US$2.65bn, 33.4% lower than in the same month of 2019. Due largely to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, exports fell by an average of 27% in the first half of 2020, but Mincetur noted that the situation is slowly improving, with June’s exports representing a 45% increase on the US$1.83bn low recorded in April. In a statement, Mincetur claimed that
