ARGENTINA: Where is the economic plan?

On 31 August Argentina announced that its proposed US$66.2bn bond restructuring agreement had received the backing of 99% of the creditors, in effect making it a done deal. The news relieves some of the external pressure on the government led by President Alberto Fernández, but it may paradoxically cause him greater domestic political stress over the shape of future economic policy.
