ARGENTINA: Supreme court intervenes in judicial independence dispute

On 29 September Argentina’s supreme court (CSJN) agreed to analyse the per saltum requests filed by three federal judges against the attempts by the government to transfer them from their current posts and ordered the immediate suspension of the transfers pending a final ruling.
