ARGENTINA: IMF talks deepen political divisions

The timing was deliberate and could prove damaging for the government led by President Alberto Fernández. The publication of an incendiary letter in the midst of a visit to Argentina by a mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the reaction to it, has brought into sharp relief the differences not just between the ruling Partido Justicialista (PJ, Peronists) and the centre-right opposition but also within the PJ itself.
