ECUADOR: Deputies impeach Moreno’s lynchpin

Ecuador’s President Lenín Moreno, much of his cabinet, and the police high command flanked the interior minister, María Paula Romo, on 24 November in the Carondelet presidential palace as she sought to fight off an attempt to impeach her in a virtual appearance before the country’s legislators.
