NICARAGUA: US imposes more sanctions
On 9 June the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced new economic sanctions on Camila Ortega, the daughter of Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega; Nicaragua's central bank (BCN) president, Ovidio Reyes; Edwin Castro, a national legislator; and Julio Rodríguez, a brigadier general in the army.
