* Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro has announced that he has approved nearly €31m (US$36.2m) in funding to complete suspended infrastructure projects that were launched by the Brazilian engineering firm Odebrecht, which in 2015 was found to be running a pan-continental bribery racket.
