* Peru’s national statistics institute (Inei) has published figures showing that national production increased by 4.55% in October 2021, compared to the same month in 2020. The largest year-on-year increases in production were seen in hotels and restaurants (62.11%); transport, storage, and courier services (13.31%); and telecoms (7.98%). The sectors that saw reduced year-on-year production in October were fishing (-33.15%); construction (-3.10%); and finance and insurance (-6.86%).
