ARGENTINA: Fernández relishes in Lula victory
Even before the official results were in from Brazil’s election on 30 October, Argentina’s President Alberto Fernández congratulated leftist former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2011) on his victory, spoke of a new era for the region, and said he would jump on a plane in the morning to give Lula a hug.
