In brief: Brazil’s GDP grows in Q3
* Brazil’s national statistics institute (Ibge) has released the latest growth figures, showing that GDP increased by 0.4% in the third quarter of 2022, compared to the immediately preceding quarter. In year-on-year terms, GDP was up 3.6% on Q3 2021. The services sector grew by 1.1% from Q2-Q3 2022, while the industrial sector grew by 0.8% and the agricultural sector contracted by 0.9%.
