Fishy business threatens national parks

Chile’s important salmon industry is no stranger to controversy, having often been flagged for excessive use of antibiotics, environmentally damaging practices, and encroaching on the lifestyles of indigenous communities. NGOs are now doubling down on calls for salmon fisheries to be banned from national parks in the south of the country.
