Violence in Rosario forces new measures

The port city of Rosario in the north-eastern province of Santa Fe has for years been Argentina’s most violent city. But a recent series of headline-grabbing episodes of violence has refocused attention on the country’s third largest city and forced the national government in Buenos Aires to take new measures – including the controversial move of calling in the military.
