In brief: Mexico growth forecasts up in November

* Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has released is latest preliminary indicator of economic activity (IOAE), which estimates that productive activity in November was up 4.2% in yearly terms and by 0.4% as compared to the previous month. Inegi estimates an annual increase of 5.1% in activities in the secondary sector (manufacturing) and 3.7% in the tertiary sector (services). In monthly terms, Inegi estimates secondary and tertiary activities both increased by 0.4% as compared to October. This compares with IOAE estimates of 0.1% monthly growth and 3.8% annual growth in October.
