Milei’s very short honeymoon in Argentina

It was too good to be true. Argentina’s President Javier Milei got off to a picture-book start, or so it seemed, firing off tombs of decrees that would fix decades of distortions in Latin America’s third largest economy. His measures would save huge amounts of money, his deregulation and market-friendly policies restore confidence and attract investments.
