MEXICO | Tourism up year-on-year. On 11 March, Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) announced a 3.6% increase in international tourist arrivals and a 4.6% overall increase in visitors in January compared to the same month last year. In January 3.64m international tourists arrived in Mexico, surpassing the 3.51m who arrived in January 2023.
