Milei’s economic wins elude the people

There aren’t many countries where a president would gloat over annual inflation of 276%, but Argentina is one of them. To be fair, President Javier Milei actually celebrated inflation of “only” 13.2% in February, the second monthly slowdown since the price surge he caused in December when he slashed subsidies and price caps on energy, transport, and basic goods.
