ECUADOR: Correa confident about constituent assembly elections
On 30 September the country will go to the polls to elect a 130-member constituent assembly that will rewrite the constitution again. President Rafael Correa is confident that he will win a comprehensive majority in the assembly and promises a major redraft of the charter, reversing the neo-liberal leanings introduced in the last revision in 1998.
