COLOMBIA: Fugitive launches anti-Santos campaign

He was once known as Colombia’s high commissioner for peace; overnight, however, Luis Carlos Restrepo has become one of Colombia’s most famous fugitives. His notoriety is not so much the result of the gravity of his crimes - many guerrilla and paramilitary leaders have committed much more atrocious ones - but for the political implications that his prosecution and his subsequent decision to flee have had, and will continue to have, in the short-term.
