MEXICO: Still Peña Nieto’s presidency to lose
The latest opinion poll from Mitofsky, which is promising to produce fortnightly polls for the presidential election, put the lead enjoyed by Enrique Peña Nieto, the Partido Revolucionario Institucional’s (PRI) candidate, at 16 percentage points. The poll, published on 9 February, was taken after Josefina Vázquez Mota was chosen as the Partido Acción Nacional’s (PAN) presidential candidate.
