Colombia and Mexico join forces against organised crime

One has become a byword for a country that has successfully countered drug trafficking organisations (DTOs) and the associated violence that they generate; the other as a country whose very survival as a state is increasingly under threat by these same groups. However Colombia and Mexico have shown resilience and determination and as per a new agreement signed by their respective attorney generals, the two countries aim to lead the way in regional cooperation efforts against organised crime.
