SECURITY | Security minister’s brother quits. On 10 October, Raúl Garré, the head of cabinet of advisers to the security ministry, which is led by his sister, Nilda Garré, resigned. Widely considered to be the ideologue of the decree for the pay scale modifications for the paramilitary security forces which triggered the latest unrest, Raúl’s departure is the first political fall-out of the crisis.
