NICARAGUA: PLC boycotts inauguration ceremony
The opposition Partido Liberal Constitutionalista
(PLC) announced this week that its candidates successful in the 9 November
municipal elections would not attend their swearing-in ceremonies. The decision
compounds the political crisis caused by the opposition's refusal to recognise
the election results.
