PARAGUAY | Iragro tax approved. On 10 September Paraguay’s chamber of deputies approved a bill introducing a new tax on agricultural profits (Iragro) and the extension of value added tax (VAT) to cover agricultural products. Following earlier approval by the senate, the bill is now ready to be signed into law.
