Development: On 25 November Mexico’s state oil firm Pemex confirmed that the Argentine government  led by President Cristina Fernández had reached an agreement in principle with Spain’s Repsol on compensation for the April 2012 expropriation of its 51% controlling stake in Argentina’s national oil firm, Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF).
