MEXICO: Fewer deaths; other indicators less encouraging

The government of President Enrique Peña Nieto sounded quite satisfied at the end of its first year of office with the lowest number of intentional homicides in four years. However, several analysts have pointed out that other indicators do not indicate an overall improvement of the public security situation.
