Venezuela in talks

On 24 April, after the conclusion of the third session of the ‘peace dialogue’ between the Venezuelan government led by President Nicolás Maduro and the main opposition coalition, Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD), the MUD’s secretary general, Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, revealed that the two sides have agreed to set up three round tables to further discuss proposals for overcoming the country’s political crisis.
