HONDURAS: JOH - a man with a plan or three

President Juan Orlando Hernández is a man on a mission to bring back Honduras from the edge of ‘failed state’ status. Seeming to take his cue from Mexico’s equally energetic president, Enrique Peña Nieto, who set a blistering pace from the minute he took office in December 2012, Hernández (or JOH, as he’s dubbed locally), appears to have done more in his first 100 days than his beleaguered predecessor, Porfirio Lobo (2010-2014), did in four years.
