Mexico slow out of the blocks

The Mexican economy is in transition, but it’s not clear which way it is headed. While the government is adamant that it is gathering strength and, indeed, that a full-bodied recovery is just around the corner, some analysts, including the national statistics institute (Inegi), suggest that the country may actually be in technical recession.
