Costa Rica continues to lead the way in LGBTI rights

With various marches taking place across the sub-region last month to mark Gay Pride, recent developments have taken place in Costa Rica in particular, in relation to the rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) community. Yet international and local LGBTI organisations continue to flag up the considerable room for improvement in the region overall.
