Dominicans are no strangers to constitutional reform, especially when it involves amending articles referring to presidential re-election. It came as no great surprise then when 13 senators from the ruling Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), presented a bill to amend the constitution to allow President Danilo Medina to run for re-election this time next year.
