Development: On 14 July Mexico’s federal congress’s bicameral national security commission announced that it has summoned President Enrique Peña Nieto’s security cabinet to appear before it on 16 July discuss the details of the escape of drug kingpin, Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán Loera, from a maximum security prison.
