‘Northern Triangle’ countries boost security cooperation
Development: On 12 August the security and defence ministers from Central America’s so-called ‘Northern Triangle’ (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras) met in El Salvador’s capital, San Salvador, and agreed to set up a high-level security group to tackle crime in the area.
