MEXICO: Corruption worries corporates more than violence

In July the Mexico branch of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) published its regular annual security survey for 2015-2016, with the local press focusing on two headlines: first, that companies are leaving some states and in one or two cases, the country itself, because of worries over security; and second, that for the business community corruption is a bigger problem than criminal violence. The detail of the report, however, provides a more complex snapshot of operating risks in the country.
