Wind provides silver lining

While Mexico’s energy reform has not taken off in quite the way the government led by President Enrique Peña Nieto hoped with the slump in international oil prices leaving the state-run oil company, Pemex, in financial turmoil, there has been one positive development in an unexpected area: clean energy. An influx of investment in wind and solar power has provided a major fillip for the Peña Nieto administration.
