MEXICO: Senate approves key finance bill
In a small triumph for President Felipe Calderón's government, and in
particular for his finance minister Ernesto Cordero, the senate approved the Ley
de Ingresos fiscal revenue law this week. Cordero is tipped to be Calderón's
first choice to become the ruling Partido Acción Nacional (PAN)'s presidential
candidate in 2012.
