COLOMBIA | 2014 budget becomes law. On 17 November President Juan Manuel Santos signed into law the 2014 national budget bill recently approved by congress. Santos praised the Col$203 trillion (US$105bn) budget pointing out that it is the largest in the country’s history and includes the highest allocation for social investment for over 20 years.
