Mexico moves up US priority list
Mexico’s president Felipe Calderón Hinojosa and his government do not seem to know whether to be pleased or horrified that the US government is taking such an interest in what is happening in Mexico. There is an awkward awareness, on both sides of the border, of the US’s history of ignoring the Mexican government when the US feels that military action has to be taken in Mexico.
