Transition starts disastrously for President Fox
The final 18 months of a presidential term have traditionally been nervy times for Mexicans and investors in Mexico. President Vicente Fox has not made an encouraging start to this tricky period. He can only become weaker as ambitious people switch from working or supporting him to ingratiating themselves with his successor.
