MEXICO | AWS announces major investment. On 26 February Amazon Web Service (AWS), a subsidiary of US company Amazon that provides cloud computing services, announced plans to launch an AWS ‘infrastructure region’ in Mexico’s Querétaro state by early 2025, representing an investment of more than US$5bn over 15 years.
