CHILE: Will she, or won’t she?
Chile is beginning to focus not just on the next elections – municipal and regional polls due in October – but on the ones after that too (presidential and congressional polls due in November 2025). An early question mark has popped up: will twice former president Michelle Bachelet (2006-2010; 2014-2018) seek to compete for a third term in 2026-2030?
